Bonnie McGee

My work begins with thin transparent washes and progresses from thin to thick, trying to capture the moment in a painterly way without excessive detail. I work plein air whenever possible. When I'm not painting I'm climbing 14ers, fly fishing, skiing the powder, or riding my Arab in endurance rides. In 1988 I completed a four-year circumnagivation on my 33 foot sloop "Road Not Taken".
